Bathroom renovations
In a bathroom, everything depends on the waterproofing. We seal the substrate properly before tiling, so damp doesn't appear in the flat below two years later, and we renew pipes and waste runs while the wall is open.
What it includes
- Strip-out of the existing bathroom
- Waterproofing of the substrate
- Renewal of plumbing and waste pipes
- Tiling, flooring and suspended ceiling
- Fitting of sanitaryware and screen

Frequently asked questions
Can the toilet or shower be moved to a different spot?
Yes, but it depends on where the soil stack runs and whether there is enough height to give the waste a fall. The toilet is the most restricted, because it needs a larger outlet close to the stack.
Why does waterproofing matter so much?
Because a fault stays hidden until damp shows up on the ceiling of the flat below or on the neighbouring wall. Doing it properly before tiling avoids far more expensive repairs later.
