Frequently asked questions
Can a bath be swapped for a shower tray without major building work?
In many cases yes, because only one area of the bathroom is affected. The waterproofing still has to be redone and the waste adapted, and that is what most affects the result.
Which shower tray is better, low-profile or flush with the floor?
A low-profile tray sits on the existing floor with a very small step and is the most common choice. A flush tray is more accessible, but the base has to be lowered to give the waste enough fall, which is not always possible in a flat.
